How quickly can I get HeyLive on my site?

Sign up with Google, copy one snippet from the Widget page, paste it before your closing </body> tag, and refresh — the chat bubble appears in your bottom-right. Most teams are live in under five minutes.

Do I need to install software or pay for hosting?

No. HeyLive runs in the cloud. You add a single <script> tag to your site — that's the entire integration. Your agent dashboard runs in any modern browser.

What does it cost?

Free during beta. When the public version launches there will be a generous free plan for small teams and paid tiers for higher chat volume, multiple workspaces, and AI features. No hidden fees while you're testing.

How long are chats stored?

Messages, attachments and visitor records are automatically deleted after 14 days — built-in privacy compliance with no checkboxes to remember. Visitor ratings on closed chats are kept separately so you keep team insights without retaining the conversation itself.

Can I use HeyLive on more than one website?

Each workspace serves one site at a time. To run HeyLive across multiple brands, create one workspace per brand from your dashboard — each gets its own snippet, inbox, and team.

How does it work on mobile?

The widget opens fullscreen on phones with a touch-friendly composer. On desktop it stays as a tidy 360px panel. Your agents can answer chats from a phone too — the dashboard is fully responsive.

What if two agents try to reply to the same chat?

They can't. Every chat must be Accepted by exactly one agent before that agent can reply. Other agents see who's handling it and can monitor, but the composer is locked. No double-replies, no awkward overlap.

Is HeyLive GDPR-friendly?

By default. 14-day auto-deletion is built in. Polite-close removes the visitor's record after they rate the chat. The widget loads no third-party trackers. EU-region hosting will be available on enterprise tiers when we launch them.
